The Initiation: A Journey By Our Self
This book looks at the impact of images produced in our (market) economy in contrast to images from other countries that have evolved over centuries of time (spiritual). This is an attempt to understand the role of visual symbols in our culture. Animals have been used as the vehicle for this comparative study. In a way it is Tony the Tiger talking to the Chinese Dragon about the meaning of life. Two “voices” are in conversation as the self goes through her heroic journey: Shakespearean tongue and market lingo. 1990
